Inhabited House Duty.
Applications for certificates under Section 11 of the Inland Revenue Act,
1903, were received during 1918 in respect of 8 houses comprising 58 tenements.
In 3 cases (38 tenements) the applications were granted, and in 5
cases (20 tenements) refused. Certificates were also given in respect of 3
houses (0 tenements) for which application was made in 1917.
Canal Boats Acts.
During the year Inspector Auger inspected 6 boats, registered to carry 17
adults and 4 children and actually carrying 13 adults and 6 children.
FACTORY AND WORKSHOP ACTS.
