Preservatives in Butter. Of the 14 samples of butter, 8 contained percentages of boric acid as follows :—

Margarine Act, 1887, Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1899,
and the Butter and Margarine Act, 1907.
No application was received to register premises for the carrying
on of businesses of Wholesale dealers in margarine and milk blended
butter.
