Bacteriological Examinations.
During the year ended 31st December, 1919, 111 samples of sputum
were bacteriologically examined free of cost at the Borough of Poplar
Dispensary for the Prevention of Consumption. The Tubercle bacillus
as found to be present in 35 instances (31.53 per cent.).
