Table L. gives further details of the work during the last
three years. Owing to the appointment of a second nurse in
September, 1918, the number of home visits made by the nurses
has nearly doubled this year. It is very satisfactory to note this
increase in a most important aspect of the work. There is a large
increase in the clerical work generally, especially in the number of
reports made to authorities and to private practitioners in
connexion with the treatment of patients, and to cope with this
aspect of the work a clerk was appointed in September, 1919.
