Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
Of the total number of deaths registered, 73, or 76 per cent.,
were of infants under one year, and the total number of deaths
of children under two years was 75, equal to a rate of .25 per
1,000.
The number of deaths from Diarrhoea, Zymotic Enteritis,
and Enteritis under one year, represents 17.5 per cent. of the total
mortality at that age.
In all the deaths under one year from Diarrhoea and Enteritis,
special inquiries were made, and the following Tables show the
nature of the food given.
