HOUSES INSPECTED AND INQUIRIES MADE IN
CONNECTION WITH INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
Number of Houses Inspected and Inquiries made (not
including Tuberculosis) 1,681
Number of Re-visits 4,022
Of the total number of notifications received during the year,
the Health Visitors have visited 602 cases and re-visited when
required.
During the year, when premises have been entered for the
purpose of carrying out disinfection after cases of Infectious
Disease, the following books belonging to the Libraries, etc., were
destroyed:—
Central Library, 75; School Libraries, 0; Total, 75.
CLEANSING STATION, BLACKWALL LANE.
In connection with the cleansing of verminous school children
arrangements have now been made with the London County Council
for reserving the use of the Council's Cleansing Station for an
additional session per week, the days now reserved being Mondays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The number of children cleansed during the year was as under :
