BIRTHS.—During 1914 there were registered 2,558 births of
Finsbury residents -equal to a birth-rate of 80.7 per 1,000
inhabitants.
The number of births and the birth-rate both show a slight
increase this year as compared with 1913.
The birth rate for Finsbury still keeps higher than the birthrate
for the whole of England and Wales, and does not fall to the
same appreciable extent.
