Isolation Hospitals are provided by the Metropolitan Asylums Board, and residents of Hampstead suffering from infectious disease (excluding
Tuberculosis) were chiefly removed to the North-Western Fever Hospital, which is within the Borough, and is situate at Lawn Road, in
No. 2 (Belsize) Ward.
Persons suffering from Pulmonary Tuberculosis were removed to institutions in various parts of the country.
