Of the cases newly notified during 1918, 13 were of persons
already dead or dying, and in 25 other cases the patients did not
survive the year under review. Of the total new cases in 1918 the
number who have attended the Municipal Tuberculosis Dispensary
is 170.

The total number of cases of Tuberculosis known to the Department
at the close of 1918 was 996.
