During the year 146 patients, new and old, have been treated at
the Dispensary. Insured: Pulmonary, 32; Non.Pulmonary, 4;
Total, 36. Non.Insured: Pulmonary, 85; Non.Pulmonary, 25; Total,
110. Details made up as follows :—

Attendances.—The attendances made by these patients during
the year was 899. 137 by insured and 762 by non.insured persons.
73 attended for the purpose of observation, namely, 7 insured and 66
non.insured, who made 288 attendances, 25 by insured and 263 by
non.insured.
Contacts.—158 contacts were examined. Of these 11 were
found to be suffering from Pulmonary and 5 from Non.Pulmonary
Tuberculosis. These were treated at the Dispensary.
Home Visits.—459 domiciliary visits have been made, 175 by
the Tuberculosis Medical Officer and 284 by the Tuberculosis Nurse.
Patients Discharged.—33 patients were discharged as follows :—
Referred back to Panel Doctor, 1; Improved, 9; Much improved, 3;
Arrested, 17; Found after observation to be non.tubercular, 12.
39 patients were dealt with as follows :—10 were sent to
Sanatoria, Hospitals and Nursing Homes (other than Poor Law), 2 were
sent to the Workhouse Infirmary, 6 left the district and 21 ceased
attending.
