Removal of Cases.
Of the cases of Pulmonary Tuberculosis newly notified in 1915,
63 were removed : 36 to Sanatoria, 9 to Hospitals, 5 to Infirmaries and
13 to Nursing and other Homes. 21 of the newly notified cases of
non-pulmonary tuberculosis were removed : 18 to Hospitals and
Sanatoria and 3 to the Infirmary. Of the pulmonary cases notified prior
to 1915, 17 were removed : 12 to Sanatoria, 1 to Hospital and 4 to the
Infirmary. 3 cases of non-pulmonary notified in 1915 were removed
to Hospitals, Homes, etc.
Preventive and Curative Measures.
The action taken by the Public Health Department during the
year has followed the line indicated in my Annual Reports for 1912,
1913 and 1914.
