SCARLET FEVER.
Table XVI. shows that 16 cases of Scarlet Fever, including 6 cases
notified as Scarlatina, occurred during the year, and that half of this number
occurred during the voyage principally on vessels carrying passengers—the
remainder occurred on Training Ships in the river.
