BAKEHOUSES.
The bakehouses in the Borough, 97 in number, of which 77 are underground, were periodically
inspected during the year, with a view to enforcing compliance with the provisions of Sections
97 and 100 of the Factory and Workshop Act, 1901, which re-enacted and extended provisions contained
in the several Acts repealed by the consolidating Act.
