LEGAL PROCEEDINGS, 1910.
It is a matter for satisfaction that, apart from the proceedings
under the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts, only four other
summonses were needed, one being for smoke nuisance ; one
for sanitary defects, which was withdrawn on payment of costs;
one for carrying trade refuse in prohibited hours ; and one for
recovery of expense incurred in relaying portion of combined
drain in owner's default.
