As regards the source of infection, in two instances it was found
that the patient had clearly been infected on the Continent. In three
other cases the patients were members of the staff of the North-Western
Fever Hospital, and were presumably infected in hospital.
In the remaining instances the source of infection could not be
traced.
Puerperal Fever.
Six cases were notified, three of which proved fatal, as compared
with 2 cases and no deaths in 1910.
