Senile Mortality.
The deaths of persons of 65 years of age and upwards numbered
314, as compared with 344 in 1910.
CAUSES OF DEATH.
The causes of death are given in Table III. of the Local Government
Board's series of tables, see page 117, and are set out in more
detail in the extended table facing page 117. The mortality from the
various communicable diseases is given in the section of the Report
devoted to those diseases. As regards the other causes of death, the
following require special mention :—
Cancer.
The following table gives the number of deaths from cancer, and
the death-rate per 1000 population in each of the ten years 1902-11:—
