SUMMONSES HEARD.

383, Goldhawk RoadTrading as a Milk Vendor while not registered.Fined 5s., 2s. costs.
Excel Meat Co., 2a, Hammersmith RoadOdour of Cooked MeatFined £ 10, 2s. costs. Magistrate refused to make any suggestions as to what should be done to prevent the alleged nuisance, and intimated that the business should be removed to some place not within 50 yards of dwellings of the character of the houses adjacent to the Company's premises.

PUBLIC MORTUARY.
During last year 262 bodies were removed to the
mortuary at Fulham Palace Road. There were 124
bodies brought to the mortuary by order of the
Coroner or the Police ; 76 bodies were taken from
the West London Hospital, and 62 bodies were received
for accommodation.
PUBLIC NUISANCES.
During last year I had occasion to bring before
your Public Health Committee complaints in reference
to the following alleged Public Nuisances in the
Borough :—
Minimax Co., Wormholt Farm, Shepherd's Bush.
Hammersmith Borough Council Electricity Works, Fulham Palace
Road, Hammersmith.
Excel Meat Co., Hammersmith Road, Hammersmith.
The whole of these complaints had the careful
consideration of your Public Health Committee.
