On 20th January, 1909, six summonses were heard before Mr. Hopkins, at Lambeth Police Court: (1) Against the builder for constructing a water closet in connection with a building, No. 330a Brixton Road, without constructing a window in one of the walls opening to the external air, and without giving notice in writing to the Clerk of the Borough Council before executing the said works, contrary to the by-laws Nos. 2 and 14 of the L.C.C.100020
(2) Against a workman employed on the above work. Summons withdrawn, costs paid by the employer-020
