Notes.—(a) Deaths of residents occurring in public institutions beyond the district are included in sub columns (c) of the table, and those of the non-residents
iegistered in public institutions in the district are excluded. (See note on Table i. as to meaning of terms "resident "and "non-residents.")
(b) Deaths of residents occurring in public institutions, whether within or without the district, are allotted to the respective localities according to
the addresses of the deceastd.
(c) Deaths under I year are not corrected, and the gross total of sub columns d agrees with the total of column 5 in Table
