merchants, 1 motors, 1 electrician and 1 blouse maker.
‡The Register contains (up to the end of 1909) a total of 1769 work
shops and 2939 workrooms, but, of these, only 668 workshops (110
factories) are in use (1674 workrooms), the remainder being empty,
demolished, or no longer in use as workplaces.
