The number of births exceeds the number of
notifications, as twins and triplets are notified on the
same form. There were 47 pairs of twins, eight pairs
of boys, 17 pairs of girls, and 22 boy and girl twins.
There was one set of triplets, two boys and a girl,
who, although they lived for several months, eventually
died.
