In addition to the total of 296 oases notified under
the Tuberculosis Regulations, 1911, particulars of 1,222
cases were notified to us by Medical Officers of
Institutions in Bethnal Green, of patients ordinarily
residing outside the Borough. These particulars were
forwarded to the Medical Officer of Health for the
district concerned. Twenty-seven samples of sputum
were sent to the Clinical Research Association for
examination. Tubercle Bacilli were found in six.

The six beds retained by this Authority were kept
constantly occupied during the year. Eighteen persons
