NUMBER OF TENEMENTS.
At the Census of 1901, the total number of tenements in the Holborn Borough
was 13,790. As large a proportion as 37'5 per cent. of tbe population lived in
tenements of one or two rooms, and 60.1 per cent. of the population lived in tenements
of one to four rooms.
