There were 377 deaths of "Residents" in various Workhouses, Infirmaries,
Asylums, Hospitals, &c., outside the Borough, 125 of whom were removed from
Common Lodging Houses in the Borough. Of these, 178 formerly resided in
St. Giles and Bloomsbury, and 199 in the Holborn District.

in previous years were 15.7 in 1908, 16.6 in 1907, 17.0 in 1906, 16.9 in 1905, and 17.9 in 1904.
