DEATHS FROM THE NINE PRINCIPAL
ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
The total number of deaths of Residents that
were registered from the nine principal zymotic
diseases was 205 against 171 in the previous year.
The deaths of Residents last year from these diseases
were equal to 115 per 1,000 of the total deaths of
Residents registered, and were at the rate of 1.6 deaths
per 1,000 persons living. The deaths from the nine
principal zymotic diseases in the whole of London
were equal to 93 per 1,000 of the total deaths
registered, and were at the rate of 1.3 deaths per 1,000
persons living. These deaths were, therefore, as
compared with the total deaths of Residents registered,
22 greater per 1,000 deaths belonging to this Borough
than in London, and, as compared with the population,
3 per 1,000 greater in this Borough than in London.
