Ambulances.
The Council have for some years past provided a wheeled
ambulance at each of the following six points in the Borough:—
Queens Road (at Queens Circus).
Clapham Junction (at junction of Falcon Road and Lavender
Hill).
Bridge Road (at junction of Cambridge Road and Bridge
Road).
York Road (at junction of York Road and Plough Road).
Battersea Park Road (outside Christ Church).
Nightingale Lane (Wandsworth Common end).
These ambulances are freely accessible to the public. They
are frequently availed of by the police, and have proved of much
service in connection with street accidents, etc. Each ambulance
is provided with the necessary surgical appliances and dressings
for rendering "first aid" to the injured.
