Diphtheria and Membranous Croup.
The number of cases notified in 1910 was 48 as compared with
33 in 1909, the attack-rate, or number of cases notified per 1000
population, being 0-50. The number of fatal cases was 6, or 12'5 per
cent, of the cases notified. The death-rate per 1000 population was
0-06; 39 patients, or 81 per cent. of the total cases notified, were
removed to hospital.
