from the total deaths registered the deaths of non-resident persons dying
in Hampstead, and adding the deaths of Hampstead residents who died
outside the district, the recorded death-rate is found to be 8.6 per
1000 of the population, as compared with the rate of 8.9 per 1000 of
the population in 1909. The average recorded death-rate for the 10
years 1900-1909 was 9.8.
