MARRIAGES.
According to the returns of the Registrar-General, 631 marriages were registered in the Borough during 1910; they were distributed in the four quarters of the year as follows:—

The total number of persons married in Hampstead during 1910
was 1,262, which is equivalent to a rate of 13.2 per 1000 of the
population, and is a decrease on that for the year 1909, when the
marriages of 1,300 persons were registered, equivalent to a rate of 14.4
per 1000 of the population.
