The Workhouse is within the Borough and is situate at New End in No. 1 (Town) Ward.
Isolation Hospitals are provided by the Metropolitan Asylums Board, and residents of Hampstead suffering from infectious disease are usually
sent to the North-Western Hospital, which is within the Borough, and is situate at Lawn Road, in No. 2 (Belsize) Ward.
