The following were the houses represented by me as being in such a state as to be unfit for human habitation:—

The owner of the houses in Parsons Green Lane came
before the Public Health Committee, and offered to close
these houses within six months, and not to relet any house
that became vacant during that period. On that undertaking
the Public Health Committee adjourned the consideration of
making closing orders in respect of the houses.
In addition to the houses represented as unfit for habitation
under the Housing Act, 13 houses in Langford Road
and 3 in Bagley's Lane, containing 48 tenements, were
closed by the owner on receipt of intimation notices, under
the Public Health (London) Act. Of these, six, after
thorough repair, have been reoccupied, while the remaining
ten are still closed.
