Council in October, no objections being raised by the

Unsound Food.
The stalls and shops where food is sold or stored were
regularly inspected by the Sanitary Inspectors in rotation.

A complaint having been received that some unsound meat
bad been sold by a butcher, an inspection of his premises
was made, and a quantity of unsound meat was found in the
ice safe, which was seized by the Sanitary Inspector and
condemned by the magistrate, but proceedings were not taken
against the owner by the Public Health Committee, as they
were of opinion that the meat was not exposed for sale or
