SIMPLE CONTINUED FEVER.
Two deaths were registered, but these have been included in the returns for
Enteric Fever.
DIARRHOEA.
The registers showed that 180 deaths, or 12 less than the uncorrected average,
occurred during the year, of which 139 were entered in the third quarter. In the
first quarter only 4 deaths were known ; in the second 8; and the fourth 29.
The 180 deaths represent a death-rate of 0.51 per 1,000.
