in the mortality is confined to Measles, Diphtheria and
Diarrhoea, whilst each of the others shews a slight
increase. The total deaths included in Table K form
nearly twelve per cent. (11.75) of the total mortality
from all causes.

The death rate from these seven Zymotic diseases
is 2.2 against 2.7 in 1904, whilst the corresponding
Metropolitan rates are 2.1 and 1.7.
Table L shews the percentage of deaths from each
disease as compared with the total number of Zymotic
deaths.
