ILLEGITIMATE BIRTHS.
The illegitimate births numbered 71, of these 18 were registered
from one house and 7 from another. In consequence of enquiries
made it was ascertained that the mothers of 47 of these children were
non-parishoners.
MARRIAGES.
The number of marriages registered in the Borough of Deptford
during the year 1905 was 657, whilst that for the previous year was
704.

DEATHS.
The number of deaths registered during the year was 1,642
(males 824, females 818), of these 498 occurred in public institutions
outside the district. There were 548 deaths belonging to the North
District, 428 to the South District and 666 to the Central District.

in each Ward, and the death-rate in each Ward. (See also tables
