alterations for the more complete separation of the tenements.
These alterations increased the cost of the building by £60,
so that the amount of the loan for which the sanction of the
Board was received on 9th October was ,£1,056. The building
is now rapidly approaching completion.
Mortuary.
The number of bodies removed to the Mortuary in
Sheepcote Lane was 223. 213 were inquest cases, 8 bodies
of patients dying from infectious disease, and 7 bodies
removed for sanitary reasons from crowded homes.
