Report on the health of the Metropolitan Borough of Battersea for the year 1903

At the beginning of the year 1903, there were 454 workshops
on the register. During the year the occupation of
35 of these premises as workshops was discontinued, while
122 new workshops were registered, so that at the end of
the year the number on the register was 541, in which were
employed 2,284 persons, 998 males and 1,286 females.
