Mortality at Adolescence.
Between the ages of 15 and 25 years, 75 deaths or 3.7 per
cent. of the total number were recorded; the rate of mortality
being 2.9 per 1,000.
Mortality at Maturity.
701, or 34.7 per cent, of the deaths occurred between the
ages of 25 and 65, the mortality at this age-period being at the
rate of 10.5 per 1,000.
Mortality at Decline.
At the age of 65 and upwards 332 deaths were registered,
or 16.3 per cent. of those at all ages. corresponding to a deathrate
of 70.0 per 1,000.
DEATHS AND DEATH-RATE FROM ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
325 deaths were due to the seven principal zymotic diseases,
viz.:—
