NOTE.— The difference between the number of" Houses visited" and "Workshops
inspected," and " re-inspected," represents the number of houses occupied partly or entirely
by Dressmakers and others, at which no women workers were found to be employed.
" The Sub-Committee, at their meeting held on the 9th
April, in calling the attention of the Sanitary Committee to the
fact that the tentative appointments of the Inspectors would
