SICKNESS RETURNS.
The number of cases of sickness under the care of the District Medical
Officers was 1614, or a few more than in 1897, when the number was 1572.
Details of these are given in Table IV.

SANITARY WORK. The following is an abstract of nuisances abated and sanitary work accomplished during the year ending December 31 st, 1898:—
