The complications were as follows :—

* None of these suppurated.
Cases of Otorrhoea and Rhinorrhoea of long-standing before the onset
of Scarlet Fever have been excluded, but all cases that have been
definitely associated with Scarlet Fever have been included in this list.
All cases of complications arising in the course of Scarlet Fever
have been periodically visited, and at the date of writing the Report
(April, 1924) they had cleared up, with the exception of the Hip Joint
Disease.
There were 3 deaths from Scarlet Fever, namely :—
1. C.M. (female), 6 years, notified P. of W. Hospital 28-2-23,
removed M.A.B. 28-2-23, died in M.A.B. Hospital, 17-6-23.
2. R.K. (male), 3 years, notified 19-4-23. " Milne " treatment until
22-4-23. Removed to Hospital 22-4-23, died 8-5-23.
3. E.B. (female), 11 years, notified 1-11-23. "Milne" treatment
declined. Died 4-11-23.
