INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
During the period under review there has been a mild epidemic
of Chicken Pox, and to date 21 cases have occurred. There is
every indication that this is now drawing to a close.

Appended is a tabulated list of all the infectious cases, indicating the nature of each case, and the Borough or County Institution to which the child was sent for treatment:—

GENERAL NURSING AND DIETS.
The care and attention given to the children is abundantly
manifest in their bright, clean appearance, contented disposition,
and general demeanour.
The diets, carefully balanced and prepared, are, in my opinion,
excellently varied and completely adequate.
THE NURSERY.
The work in the Nursery progresses with the same even tenor.
The general efficiency of the Department is maintained at a high
level, and, as a unit, has proved an undoubted success.
DEATHS.
One death occurred, which was reported on October 1st, 1935.
ACCOMMODATION.
There has been sufficient suitable accommodation for all
classes of children.
