From the above statement it will be seen how the disease attacked people at
the various ages, viz. :
In every hundred cases 2.40 were aged 1 to 5 years.
„ „ 9.78 were aged 5 to 15 years.
Prime „ ,, 26.75 ) were aged 15 to 25 years.*
of „ ,, 39.85 . were aged 25 to 45 years.
Life ,, ,, 17T6 j were aged 45 to 65 years.
,, 3 87 were aged 65 and upwards.
Referring to the first Table above, it will be seen under " Respiratory Tuberculosis
" that between the ages of 15 and 25, the males attacked number 45, while
the females reached 74.

The above table shows for the past ten years the totals of the known cases of
respiratory tuberculosis (pulmonary), indicated by " P," and other forms of
tuberculosis, the last column showing the deaths.
PUBLIC HEALTH (PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS)
REGULATIONS, 1925.
These Regulations provide that no person suffering from respiratory tuberculosis
who is in an infective condition shall be engaged in any form of dairy work
involving the milking of cows, the treatment of milk, or the handling of
containers.
No case came to the notice of the Medical Officer of Health during the year
which called for action.
ISLINGTON TUBERCULOSIS CARE COMMITTEE.
Miss M. Threlfall continued as Secretary of the Committee for the year 1935.
