INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
There are within the district 51 cowsheds. Periodical
inspection of cows and sheds takes place, and it
is gratifying to record that both are of a commendably
high standard.

The supply of ordinary milk has been sufficient and
the arrangements for distribution have been adequate
throughout the year.
Milk.
There are four retailers of Grade "A" milk in the
Rural District and two retailers of Grade "A" (T.T.)
milk. One producer is licensed for the production of
graded milk.

Samples of milk taken by the Sanitary Inspectors are forwarded to the County Laboratories for pathological and bacterial examination. I append herewith a table of results:—
