NOXIOUS TRADES.

There are seven premises in the Borough upon which noxious businesses or trades are carried on, as under:—

The Inspector made 79 inspections of these premises during the
year. The following insanitary condition was discovered on inspection:—
Premises requiring cleansing and limewashing 1 case
This cleansing was duly carried out. A notice was served in respect
to inattention to certain boilers whereby the escape of effluvia caused a
nuisance. This matter was also attended to.
The periodical limewashing of these premises has been duly carried
out.

The several cowsheds were inspected periodically, the inspector
making a total of 51 visits. The defects found on inspection were as
follow:—

These conditions were remedied.
Each cowshed has been limewashed twice during the year.
