To the Vestry of Shoreditch.
Gentlemen,
During the Quarter ending 25th December, 1874,
the Inspector submitted to me for analysis the following articles, all of
which were duly analysed by me: —

Of the samples of milk, one was, in my opinion, admixed with
.'3G per cent., and the other with 21 per cent., of water. These were bad
cases of adulteration.
The sample of green tea was faced with Prussian Blue and inert
mineral matter. The facing matter was small in quantity.
No adulterant was detected injurious to the health of the
consumer.
