Plans and notices have been submitted to the Vestry, under and pursuant to the provisions of the Metropolis Local Management Acts, in respect of the drainage of the following buildings, &c., in the Parish:—

Notices of intention to re-drain 206 existing houses have also been
received.
In connection with the drainage of new and existing buildings, 136
trapped connections have been made, 70 junctions with pipe sewers
formed, and 54 feet of 12 inch, 666 feet of 9 inch, and 4,610
feet of 6 inch pipe drains (making in all a total of 280 outlet drains)
have been laid under the public ways of the parish. These works were
carried out at private expense (the cost of the work, amounting to
£943 9s. 9d., having been first deposited with the Vestry by the parties
interested in accordance with estimates prepared by the Surveyor).
608 houses have been drained or re-drained at private expense;
the work in connection therewith, which included the laying of 2,245
feet of 9 inch, 38,800 feet of 6 inch, and 15,974 feet of 4 inch glazed
stoneware pipes, and the fixing of 878 closet pans and 1,109 sink traps,
having been carried out under the supervision of the Surveyor.
The approximate cost of this work was £6,047 13s. 0d.
