INSPECTORS' REPORTS,
For the Quarter ending 30th June, 1881.
To the Vestry of the Parish of St. James and St. John,
Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I beg most respectfully to report that during
the Quarter I purchased and submitted to Dr. Redwood,
the Public Analyst, the following articles of Food,
&c., viz., Mustard, Pepper, Milk, and Arrowroot.

Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I beg most respectfully to report that during
the past Quarter I purchased 16 Articles of Food, &c.,
consisting of Condensed Milk, Vinegar, Coffee, Mustard,
Rum, Gin, Brandy, Flour, Spring Powder, Violet
Powder, Oatmeal, and Pepper, which I duly handed to
the Analyst, Dr. Redwood. Sample C 436½ Brandy
was found to be adulterated to the extent of 30.1 under
proof, and this was declared to me at the time of
purchase as a mixture.
