Town Hall,
Richmond (Surrey),
February, 1906.
Mogden Isolation Hospital.
Dear Sir,—
Referring to your letter of 20th September last, with Copy
of a Resolution passed by your Council with respect to the
suggestions of the Local Government Board, contained in their
letter of the 13th June last, the matter has now been fully considered
by the Town Council, and 1 am directed to say that
they are prepared to accept the principle suggested by the
Board and to make an Agreement with your District Council
based upon the following terms, viz.:—
(1) The "Structural Expenses" (as defined by Section
17 of the Isolation Hospitals Act, 1893) of the proposed
extension to be equally divided between the two Districts.
(2) The 'Establishment Expenses" (as defined by the
Act) of the whole Hospital to be borne in proportion to the
Assessable Value of the two Districts.
(3) The "Patients Expenses" (as defined by the Act) to
the whole Hospital to be borne as provided by Section 19 of
the Act by the respective Districts from which the Patients
are sent to the Hospital.
It must be understood that the above terms are to be taken
as a whole and are not severable.
I am to ask the favour of a reply to this letter as early a
possible.
Yours faithfully,
H. J. Baker, Esq.,
Clerk,
Heston and Isleworth Urban Town Clerk.
District Council.
The Council passed a Resolution to the effect that the recommendation
of the Committee be adhered to.
