expenses might be borne, as in the existing Agreement, in
proportion to the assessable value of the two districts, and the
patients expenses would be borne, as provided in section 19
of the Act, by the districts from which the patients are
respectively sent to the Hospital.

The Clerk to the Heston and
Isleworth Urban District Council.
The Committee have also had before them a letter, dated the
20th September last, from the Clerk to the Heston and Isleworth
Urban District Council, adverting to previous correspondence in
the matter of the proposed extension of the Hospital and stating
that the following Resolution had been passed by the District
Council:—
"That a copy of the letter of the Local Government Board,
dated 13th June last, be forwarded to the Richmond Town
Council, and that the Town Council he informed that this
Council is prepared to adopt the suggestion contained therein."
A copy of the letter from the Board was enclosed and the Town
Council were asked to consider the matter.
The matter of the proposed Extension having been referred by
the Town Council to this Special Committee, the suggestions of
the Local Government Board and the above Resolution have been
considered.
The Committee RECOMMEND the Council to agree to the
principle suggested by the Local Government Board and to approve
and send the following letter to the Heston and Isleworth Urban
District Council:—
